The first step in processing an invention, and one which can not be circumvented, is to conduct a preliminary patent search. Upon receipt of the completed Record of Invention form, we will conduct a search of the United States Patent Office records in order to ascertain whether or not your idea is new and patentable.
Within seven to ten business days, we will send you those patents that we have found to be similar to your idea, along with our confidential report and the opinion of an independent registered patent professional as to whether or not your invention is patentable.
Along with your completed form, please send us your check in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for payment in full of all the above-mentioned services. We also accept Master Card, Visa, Discovery & American Express.
PSI charges $250.00 US per each search. This includes a legal patentability opinion and a free Trademark Search.
